A meeting of two elegances
After living in Japan for many years, I became drawn to the quiet beauty of Japanese craftsmanship—the natural character of handmade pottery, the ritual of matcha, and the care found in even the smallest details. My love for France, meanwhile, inspired a passion for jewelry that feels expressive, effortless, and timeless.
Maison de Sora brings these worlds together through a thoughtful selection of independent French jewelry, Japanese ceramics, and authentic matcha. Each piece is chosen personally for its craftsmanship, individuality, and the feeling it brings to everyday life.

House of sky
Maison de Sora takes its name from two languages: the French maison, a house, and the Japanese sora (空), the sky. It's a name built the way the business is — one part carried over from each side, held together under a single roof.
The founders have carefully sourced handmade goods that move between cultures the way we do: shaped by artisans in Japan and France, and carried home to the tables and shelves of New York, Tokyo, and Paris.
Small makers, not factory lines
Every piece at Maison de Sora comes from someone's hands, not an assembly line. We work directly with independent kilns and tea houses across Japan, and with independent potters in France — small batches, made to order, nothing mass-produced.
Direct relationships mean we know whose hands shaped the bowl on your table, and whose fields the leaf in your cup came from.

With one foot in Tokyo, one in Paris, and a home base in New York, Maison de Sora sources directly from the makers who craft each piece and carries them home — first to markets and pop-ups, and soon to a full online shop.
